You know, I went on to You Tube today to find a particular Mozart Piano Concerto to listen to, by a particular pianist (Mozart very soothing - as this household stressed at present - and about something/someone which REALLY matters to us - not political machinations) - and amongst the comment below giving varied opinions of this version of this interpretation, some creep had posted the most vile and offensive comment I think I've read, anywhere, in reply to somene's else's comment - a putrid, ugly, vile and cynical hate him comment about Jesus. Nothing to do with subject at hand. What link there is re. Mozart and Jesus is anyone's guess. But a lewd - no, filthy, comment is put up. Shall we say suggesting an act, physically, he thinks
Jesus would enjoy, being homosexual. A comment I can't repeat.
So here was heavenly music - and some Devil disciple on there commenting. WHAT is WITH such people? This world is going to the absolute dogs. We can sneer at those other countries who to us seem cruel and inhumane. Perhaps we shouldn't be so smug after all, when our own Western Society seems to be crumbling away, morally, and ethically, too. And women are often as bad as, or worse, than th men.
So called respected' political commentators (Laurie Oakes, for one) now in full ecstatic flight - his hatred of Abbott and all things LNP shown - no holds barred. He's now reverted to trying to dig up any dirt he thinks he can get on Abbott - never did it on Rudd, Gillard, or now, Shorten. Vile little man, Oakes. Pretending he's objective. Objective, my foot.
Politics is now descnding into similar. Comment on some open public comment forums - is vile, sickening, disgusting. Makes HC political forum look like Teddy Bears' picnic.
These comments all hate, vicous spite, foul mouthing - and from whom, from Leftists! SOme even advoacting their hope to see Abbott (perhaps) beheaded - or shot! The ABC comment pages are particularly vile - after this spill was announced, the vile tongued were out in force.
The filthy things now being spewed out by some of these bottom dwellers are so vile - they could amount to outright defamation. They are certainly neither witty or funny.
Yes, this country's going to the pack. And where is the fairness. The whole ABC - and most of the media, spewing hate for the Right, constantly. We have people like silly "Coshy" (a boring accountant?) and morning show tizz hosts like Karl Stepanovic - now telling the Government how they should govern, for Gods sake! Big heade, lod mouthed egostists now wall to wall.
Bet Leigh Sales got a police escort to get her back into the chair of 7.30 on Friday night, post haste. She so frenetically joyful she was almost drooling with delight - tripping over her words they spilled out so fast in her delight - asking questions at the rate of bullets and not waiting for the answers - and was grossly rude those of the LNP she was interviewing, in her obvious ecstaty at their plight! She gave up all semblance of any professional objectivity! I allege she's therefore a fake - and a failure - as a believable political interviewer. It's happening everywhere. Newsrooms now don't give objective news reports - their content is edited - either by news directors - or the actual news presenters. Making disparaging and exaggerated snide asides to what's being reported. ABC news readers and presenters of shows like "The Drum" (and Q&A of course - heavens T. Jones won't be able to contain himself - nor will his Get Up audience -) are doing it all the time, with impunity.
What is MOST striking in all this Leftist hate luv-in is that there is NO - NIL - NEVER - any mention of one Bill Shorten and his role in Australia's current PArliamentary impasse! HE is the one who could have let pass some of these deperately needed remedial legisations, yet he's getting totally OFF the hook of any blame. Leftists refuse to mention his alleged hugely and deliberately destructive role. He would rather AUstralia go down the tube than help do anything about stopping it! JUst so he can get into power - himself!
As for the rest of the Senate minority dregs - they are unspeakably subversive, I allge - to the point, I also allege, of being, now, outright traitors.

What a total hypocrite Bill SHorten is. Lapping up every second of glamour,status, and the egotistical connection when his Mum-in-Law was Governor General. Not one squeak of proteest fromhin (or her) when she was made a female Knight (Dame) - (she could have refused this!). Oh. no, Bill basks in THAT glory. But now, with very old and frail Prince Philip, who, the Queen says, is her "rock" all hell breaks loose from the Shorten Left - and he hasn't the guts to say one word of calm and caution to HIS Party - HIS Leftist mates! No, he's sitting in some cushy back room somewhere, laughing his head off, no doubt - not believing his luck, at all he's getting away with, scot free - in terms of total INACTION and lack of ideas or policies, as Opposition leader - and is total hypocrisy is seeing his M.in Law's gong - and enjoying the reflected glory then - but no doubt drumming up the sneering in this instance. When he knows darn well Hawke gave out the (then) highest level gong to the Prince in 1988. Since which time Philip's done another almost 30 years work in service to the Commonwealth.
I give up. Hate rules. Politics - all over the place. Public totally fickle, and it seems, totally uncomprehending. Of any issues except those which they see as benefitting their own hip pocket, in the short term. Never mind what's best for our country.
Or the wreckage Labor did to it when in Government for six years.
But hey - ask Chris Uhlmann - political reporter for ABC - he knows - he's "impartial" He's just married to a sitting Labor MP - Ms. Gaie Brodmann. CANBERRA! So much for any "non-conflict" of interest.
