On ABC News tonight. After the China deal was signed today, John Howard said that any States who got in the way of new mine development may simply be "sidelined".

I presume this means that the Fed Govt is intent on seeing companies like SMM get stuck into the huge reserves they are sitting on, and dig it up and sell it. And if Beattie, Carpenter, or whoever, get in the way, then they will simply make uranium mining a Federal issue under Federal control.

That should be an interesting test of the Constitution, and a bun-fight for the lawyers :)

However, I suspect that it CAN be done, and if so, then SMM and others will benefit hugely, and the share prices will go through the roof.

You ain't seen nothing yet, babes.... :)

According to Dines in the USA, the global uranium boom hasn't even got underway yet, and when it does, it will be bigger than the internet dot-com boom ever was. And he has been right many, many more times than wrong over the last 40 years.....

Me - I'm hanging onto my PDN, SMM, AEX and AGS, my picks of the bunch.

Just my 'umble opinions - feel free to disagree.
