humble69, do you have a source for that figure? I've just found another article by Bloomberg using 2007 data for the World's best selling candy and M&M's came in number one with $1.8B sales in the USA.

I've just did another search on the article I posted last night and it looks like it was created based on 2009 data. GFC must have smashed chocolate sales for M&M's to go from $1.8B in 2007 > $673m in 2009 >$2.3B in 2012.

If this is the case then the article I posted last night is completely irrelevant, with current sales for the top 25 being significantly higher.

If anyone can find recent data I'd love to see it.
