Would you please interpret this in modern, everyday language for me as I don't understand from your response how the universe formed and is evolving.
The passage may provide a clue that God is responsible for the creation of the universe, but I don't see how he was supposed to have achieved this.
Also, if you are serious that you expect atheists to explain how things started (eg how the universe started), then I think that a reasonable question for atheists to ask is: How did God start?
