Wiiza, the trial for TBI has very strict inclusion criteria.. The dosing of NNZ2566 must be with 6 hours of the incident... To stop the inflammation cascade and reduce or stop seizures.. I dont recall any mention of ongoing dosing.
From what knowledge is in the public domain, it is an early intervention as opposed to ongoing treatment.
And from what we have been told so far, there is a reduced mortality rate in the TBI tiral which will make NNZ2566 a very approveable treatment.. Safey and Toxicity are not a problem..
So potentially another Orphan Drug with Fast Track or BTD status..
