    I don't know why else they would have expressed the three dollar per kilo price in those terms. probably based on estimated tonnage less expenses. as you have pointed out it is only a company guidance.

    even then as the main ongoing expense is fattening up an increasing stock of fish i wonder to what extent these figures represent the true cost of profits per fish as opposed to a picture of their costs/income at a certain point of their development. with the fixed costs there is always a tipping point with volume that starts to diminish same exponentially.

    time will tell.

    re CZZ used to be in it but isn't the problem that they don't really own anything but some packaging plants and a distribution marketing organisation. they don't actually own any bees do they. know they used to try to tie the bee owners in by making them buy shares but even that requirement has been dropped now. at least these guys own their fish. anyway there has been interesting movement in that stock last 6 months on very little news. not for the faint hearted. although it does look like it is on a good bull run at the moment. Goblin has threatened to don his mankini.
