I was also expecting a higher dividend of around 3.5c.
We also have to consider 40 mil in debt was was paid down in the 1H15 which accounts for 6.77c per share. Total profits were 8.7c per share in the 1H15. Nst are clearly aiming to clear their debt first, before increasing the dividends to everyones expectations.
Debt will be paid off quickly in 2H15 with gold prices AU$200 higher.
