oil discoveries fall to 20 year low, page-12

The cynic in me ponders whether all these articles are just market manipulation.

One week we have oversupply enough to bathe in ... the next we hear we can't keep up, can't even find any.

"So far there has not been a single new "giant" field, one with reserves of more than 500 barrels-of-oil equivalent, reported to have been found last year, although subsequent revisions may change that."

Sounds to me like they are setting the table prior to the Cairn Senegal announcement. ie. Panic panic we can't find any oil .... then ........Senegal.

Sure would love to hold shares in any company involved in this if all goes well.
