below is a post you made this morning. i am curiouse as to why criminals wouldnt want qtk in there car? do there cars have some exemption of being stolen?? or do you think they would be worried about police randomly tracking them and finding out where they are? correct me if im wrong but i do not belive qtk hand out random positions of cars unless the owner, with the required information re pass words etc rings and asks for a location of there car. and i dont think qtk would be installed in all cars in WA just so the police can watch where everybody is.

I have had it confirmed that it is in fact the WA Police Force that are installing transponders in all of their cars. They have also indicated to me that transponders will not be compulsory be installed in new or existing cars anywhere in the near future and they laughed at the suggestion that people would even believe this is an option. As the police spokesman indicated, they can't even get an AUstralian ID card, never mind tracking everyones' cars, and criminals aren't going to allow transponders in their cars. It would be an abuse of our rights to be free citizens (not the terminology he used).
Does someone wish to check with the company now and confirm what they said at the EGM is actually correct? It clearly is not from my research.
