    re: new gom leases for omr If you already owned producing leases/infrastructure in the area, then buying neighbouring leases would be far more attractive to (say) PSA than another company starting off cold - a fresh company would need to start from scratch.

    Also US$200K or so they paid for each one, crikey is hardly even 1 weeks production from current leases.
