Hold no shares but thought i would set the scene.
A long time ago AMP were the darling of the super funds. The disastrous financially foray in UK "pension" ie. super funds cost them a lot. 4 billion or so.
National Australia bank ?? made an $8 or similar offer maybe 12 years ago. ??? The share price was lower maybe $6 or something at the time.
Was generally rejected by all.
They were at about $21 in 2000.GL to all hlders.
