Buy a Mac.
better still buy a PC that will run Mac OS. They exist, search "hackintosh". Apple hardware is average, ie it fails often enough, but the iMac is a bitch to service.
Once you get on top of the learning curve upgrades are incremental, not big changes that shock you.
