Anna's presence is an insurance policy for if Shorten and ALP get in as now looks likely on current trends, might be good to have a Laborite on the board, especially an AWU acquaintance, friend reluctant supporter like Shorten and Bligh were together.
Carolyn Hewson was on AGL's Board for years and never did much beyond government relations with the Libs in NSW (IPART)/ Canberra (AGL/ACTEW).
