Management need to announce some idea of how they are going to be making money whether it's acquiring a cash generating asset or how they are going to sell coal in a market that isn't going to need it in ten years (at least for power generation).
The writing is on the wall for coal in its current form as a fuel source. The upside is that we live in a material world so carbon and coal deposits have uses besides burning it and releasing it into the atmosphere. Management have the advantage of being asset and cash rich so if there were an emphasis on alternative uses for coal (partnerships with universities or companies developing technology) then the SP would rise because it would have a alternate selling point.
I've illustrated my feelings to management but I have not had any response in this area.
