The writing was on the wall a long time ago...everyone in the west is just delusional, expecting to earn 6 figure salaries straight out of high school. WA doesn't need to be in this predicament though...iron ore was deliberately driven down by rio and bhp. Reductions in output by them would see a swift recovery. The other commodities are due to global factors outside of anyone's control.

Engineering has suffered with everyone else...I don't see anything worse about MAH, only an unfortunate string of events which have led to it's share price being unfairly punished. MAH will have to scale back and adapt (like everyone else), but I highly doubt they will be disappearing any time soon. In any case, I think a takeover would be more likely...
