Rather than going round in these circles, can I suggest that you get a copy of "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking. It's a surprisingly easy read for such a technicackle subject coming from such a brilliant mind.
If you're worried because you can't understand your own question

p), try this one - where did your consciousness come from? Not, when did it happen (conception, when the egg was formed, when the sperm was formed, two months into pregnancy), but from where? It seems to have no mass, no energy, but is obviously apparent to you and others who meet you, even through an internet forum. The advantage of this question over yours is that we don't get bogged down in quantum physics!
