It may pay to consider the impact of the Group Lenders on the deals. DML made a lot of mistakes in the early days.. there is no doubt about that but this is what happens when you are not used to operating in Africa where other companies get by with under the table deals and you refuse to apply underhanded tactics. They know it and we know it but it doesn't mean that there wasn't a lot of things done in the right way and the current team learnt by the errors and tightened up every level of the mine and workings. The cost cutting alone was huge.
On CC you may smell sharks but you don't have to cut your leg and jump into the water nor is it right or ethical for others to do that to you. As to Brad he was telling the truth about the value of the company ground including its resources and potential for Exploration. If you don't believe this look at the current resource situation in depth.
If its not viable why is CC after it? Why did CC make an offer of $110 million for 34% of the company and that in a depressed copper market???
There is no blame here but there also needs to be a level of truth to what is going on currently.
