Its my understanding that the Administrators need to seek out the best "deal" and to do this the Administrator can go to the market. Best is open to interpretation though. This may not necessarily mean anything for the shareholders as our ranking is "down" the list ... way down. That said, a Deed of Company Arrangement (one of the possible outcomes of a VA) could see the Company emerge from VA and resume trading albeit under a different ownership structure. As has been alluded to in previous posts, VA does provide "breathing space" from creditors. Either way, what comes out of VA is never the same as what goes in.
