Good observation, Camelia! Definitely cuts into GEM's profits, but presumably only the exchange deterioration on the interest payment, not the principal until returned. The SGD is usually pegged to the US, but Singapore has varied that over the years. Definitely AUD deterioration vs SGD over the past year (from 1.13 in March14 to 1.06 today).
