jebr.....Australia is miles behind the rest of the world when it comes to broadband. I was using broadband six years ago when I was in Korea. Hardly anybody there uses telephone lines to get access to the internet.
I never once paid per gig.
I assume everybody will be on broadband here soon too so if prices go up per gig it will just mean more people will be rushing to get on broadband.
The existance of broadband will keep prices to the old copper network down to a minimum.
Hope Coonan and those other Libs can work that out. Otherwise I'll be stuffed.
