It is difficult to compare the criminal codes of various countries and they all have idiosyncrasies that seem unfair to us.

For example Singapore has the highest execution rate in the world at 14 executions per 100,000 people. There is capital punishment for drug trafficking , discharging a firearm even without causing death and rape.

So executions for actually committing a crime VS being murdered just for being Gay then?

You are right, we CAN'T compare the them.
