Its a difficult subject. Indonesia has 10 times the population of Australia and are important for our security. Indonesia also have a right to dictate their own laws and while we were providing support we were fully aware of those laws. I feel for the families of the drug smugglers and I personally do not support capital punishment but a law is a law. In a way i feel rather ambivalent about the subject. On one hand I dont support the execution of humans. But on the other hand a country has every right to dictate what law it chooses to govern its own population.
