A gangrenous toe has no blood supply and can not recover.....thus must be removed or would poison the leg eventually.....zero comparison to a SBB...
SBB has plenty of supply via its cashflow and retained profits...ie $30million in cash.....its blood supply is intact...
The current loss is based on the market...supply v demand for its shares....and a specific point in time....that is today....
U can hold a share which currently shows a loss to the trader.....especially if there is no debt and the stock will not go broke........
If it is a profit making company with increasing sales and increaseing profit....then that stock would be around long enough for the market to rerate its price..
Simplisticalyy put..
A stocks price is the result of supply v demand and a point in time...
If it has time on its side ....it only needs either the balance in supply v demand to change for the better...
This could be caused by continued increases in cashflow and profit over time..
