MF, Is that a latish photograph? Last report I read was that it was strewn all over the seabed outside Port Kembla harbour. I must go and investigate some time.
If it has become a monument, it can be used as an illustration for science teachers and engineering students; for mariners it becomes an excellent example of how useful properly arranged slack moorings could have been. Fine Arts students can sit on the breakwater and use it as a technical life model. A pricey Sculpture by the Sea.
My real regret is the new Wave Convertor that is sitting on the beach at Port McDonnell, SA, and never produced milliamp of current. That was the ultimate misfortune that could befall a company.
