Investing for the longer term does carry extra risk but I am sure that you are in a position to handle it.
This is about perception rather than reality. If you have the skills to unpack the elements that others call 'risk' is what this is all about.
Traders love sentiment and perception.
They also tend to hubris, which means they can't help bragging about their exploits.
Trading will get you a living but it won't make you rich.
If you are acting in combination with other strategies, to manipulate the market, and doing so long term, which is suggested by the $10 figure, that is another story. I'm a big fan of screenshots and that criminal offences are not subject to statute of limitations rules.
As you probably realise, I'm very patient!
