Job description
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the desktop computer systems as well as other IT related equipment used by nearmap staff for our US offices. You will provide timely and professional desktop support to all US based staff, working closely with the Global IT team in Sydney when required. You will also be responsible for providing customer support to nearmap customers during outside of Australian business hours.
You'll be a direct report to the Head of Engineering in Sydney and a dotted line to the Chief People Officer in SF.

1. Quality and timeliness of IT helpdesk support
2. Quality and timeliness of customer support
Responsibilities:
Providing desktop support including:
Responding to desktop support requests from US based nearmap staff face-to-face and remotely
Provisioning equipment and software for new staff
Setting up equipment and accounts for new staff
Re-claiming and re-distributing equipment for old staff
Closing accounts for old staff
Performing upgrades and replacements of computer equipment and software
Tracking and managing IT assets
Maintaining printers, scanners, telephones and conference equipment
Monitoring nearmap support outside of Australian business hours, and responding to US based nearmap customers within SLA

Overall job purpose:
The Product Manager is responsible for product definition and requirements. This includes managing the product and features throughout the lifecycle, gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, helping with the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products and features. This dynamic individual will serve as an internal and eternal evangelist for our product offering, working with our AUS engineering team, US sales and key customers.The role also works with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Product Manager ensures that the product and marketing efforts support nearmap’s overall strategy and goals.

Spend time in the market to understand customer problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market that generates revenue
Develop new products and features in response to identified market needs that increases revenue
Ensure products and features are compelling, competitive and profitable
