In order for me to short ACR I would have to borrow the shares & that is an avenue I have not pursued.
My LIC has done well out of shorting & I am a beneficiary of that.
It should be noted that the drop in the percentage of ACR shares being shorted means that there has been a significant amount of profit taking by the shorters. This means that they are in a great position to resume short positions if the share price rises.
At the moment it is like a G.J.Coles advertisement, "our prices are down, down, down."
As I have previously posted, the share price may never recover unless there is a fundamental change to the company & with the current management this looks far from likely.
There are many better investments than ACR on the market, so don't waste your money.
There are LICs that are paying dividends with grossed up yields of over 10% so why throw your money away hoping for a miracle.
