Brand value in childcare. Corporates are not creating successful brands, they are buying them. The only link to ownership is through their websites. No corporate advertises their ownership of centres to the broader community. When will be see 'Pelican Childcare proudly part of the G8 Education Group' ? My answer is never for reasons I have stated previously.
I know this is a share trading forum, we discuss corporate childcare, directors of those corporations, government funding, acquisitions etc., but the most important factor is the delivery of quality early childhood education to children by passionate and motivated early childhood educators. That, is what makes childcare centres successful, earns the trust of parents, maintains high occupancy that returns profits that in turn deliver dividends.
