LME base metals rise on Friday
LONDON, March 20 (Xinhua) -- The base metal prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher on Friday.
The U.S. dollar edged lower in Friday's trading, boosting metal prices.
The three-month unofficial copper price increased 237 U.S. dollars, or 4.06 percent, to 6,076 U.S. dollars per tonne.
The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 24.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.38 percent, to 1,802.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial lead price increased 57 U.S. dollars, or 3.34 percent, to 1,763 U.S. dollars a tonne.
Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 47 U.S. dollars, or 2.34 percent, to 2,059 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 452.5 U.S. dollars, or 3.30 percent, to 14,180 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price increased 362.5 U.S. dollars, or 2.15 percent, to 17,237.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.
