Funny you mention that - in today's presentation they state the following, before saying that they have a response to it:

"•Current sales promotional challenge:
•Over time the total number of days on promotion has increased, driving:
•A continued decline in sales early in sale periods, resulting in an over reliance on end of sale further discounting and clearance activity."

And then in the press release:

"Trading in the first week of Easter sale was soft in Australia, but
satisfactory in NZ."

So not much has changed since xmas?

SSS on CC are down 2% - although it is a quiet period - does not bode well.
