Not sure why you're saying I'm wrong, as you've written the same thing! I never said anything about the 26th and certainly wouldn't be buying tomorrow if I wanted the divvy.
Re: company notification of ex div dates: its a funny thing, people cry "nanny state" when the government legislates every aspect of our lives, yet want their hand held for something as easy as an ex divvy date. MYR has no control over when the ASX operates and so avoids any legal hassles by not stating an ex divvy date. Pretty simple. The vast majority of shareholders completely understand Ex date, record date, and pay date concepts. Maybe some MYR shareholders are a bit naïve? Certainly don't get such a trivial discussion in other company pages.
