just to add a bit to this old thread
watso found an old electric yoghurt maker in the back of a cupboard somewhere - watso cannot recall it ever being used - maybe the ex wife bought it - cannot recall.
anyway the phillips electric yoghurt maker turned out to be a little gem, and watso has worked out the perfect way to make yoghurt with almost zilch cleaning.
the first batch of yoghurt in the electric yoghurt maker was made by using half a sachet of yoghurt in 1 litre of uht milk - when that was made, then pour that lot into a second container - then immediately use the container that fits into the yoghurt maker again - no cleaning - just add uht milk to the leftover yoghurt in the container - then add a teaspoon or two of extra from the satchet - give it a shake - and put in the maker again.
could not be easier
