Latest news from mindanews 26/3/2015; likely already posted but the latest media release.
"SURIGAO CITY (MindaNews / 26 March) – Mamanwas have lifted their barricade against a mining firm on
Saturday after Greenstone Resources Corporation initially paid at least P5 million ($143K Aud) to the tribesfolk, belated reports said."
Still no ASX update from RED although an initial payment (possibly Sat or Mon) was paid to the Mamanwas people; the media article says another P11 million is still owed ($314K Aud) and if not paid they will blockade the mine again. Looks like you will need to read Philippine news to find out what's going on; maybe put Mindanews on your web browser favourites.
As I said in my previous post if information which may affect the SP is available then RED must report (immediately & not when they feel like it) via the ASX (see Cl 677 Aust Corp Act 2001). Shareholders have a legal right to be informed. Lets see if an announcement comes today to maybe give them the benefit of the doubt.
