I agree with you that Sydney house prices are looking pricey . I don't agree that comparing the national average wage to a particular part of the Australian property market is accurate however .
It would be interesting to see what the average wage for Sydney is for example . I have no idea what that would be . If anyone has access to that type of data , please post it .
Different cities have different affordabilities for many reasons . I think it is a bit hard to generalise for a specific part of the market .
