    Value of all US Treasury owned gold.

    US$10.9 billion.

    Cost of one Gerald R. Ford class aircraft carrier US$12.6 billion.

    The USA has 1 launched and another 2 under construction.

    Even if China had 10,000 tons of gold, which they don't, it might pay for one aircraft carrier.

    If they could build one, which they can't.
