No worries at all.

I'm not actually from Derby I lived there for the past 2 and a half years working in the detention centre but have since moved on overseas for a bit.

I actually made good friends with a bloke I worked with who had been and still is on the LOM train since the LONHRO days.

He was and is extremely positive of LOM and he's close with someone who has quite a bit invested in LOM and great knowledge of LOM and the diamond trade.

We sat down and talked about LOM for about 5 hours straight and he told me the negatives, positives and risks involved.

I then read through all the previous announcements, got caught up in the possibilities and potential and invested just over 5 grand when we were .007c pre consolidation which is all I could afford as I stick by the saying "only invest what your prepared to lose".

I then based a lot of my trust on he's knowledge and my amateur research.

I do respect greatly most of the advice shown here on HC but take it with a grain of salt as I've always believed the stock market to be evil lol.

Don't have much more to say sorry apart from a gut feeling. I'm not the best person to use as a typical investor example on LOM as it is highly likely this will be my first and last stock market investment.

I do appreciate your differing views as it adds perspective but can't help but feel sometimes your a bit heavy handed

Lastly the exceptional diamond grades, roughness and sharpness of the diamonds found, relationship with the government, secure meant of the AL for 35 years and what appears to be a greatly experienced management team is a big winner for me. I'd rather be on the LOM train and have a chance on something so special than a couple years down the track to hear they went bonkers and fund the holy grail. Be the same if I bought a lotto ticket every week for a few years really.
