I've just come in on this thread but your comment "We are still very far from replacing oil" surprised me. What time span are you referring to? As you know Governments around the world are currently legislating against the use of oil as an energy source. LNG is making tremendous progress in replacing oil in power stations, ships, locomotives, mining equipment and long distance haulage prime movers.
China is a major global importer of oil and they are reducing their imports
