It's all very well to have been a hedge trader but common sense with respect to business acumen is not something you would have necessarily learnt in that job. For example, you seem to think it is all about profit for STO at this stage of the business cycle. If you had any real knowledge of this business you would know profit is irrelevant and cashflow is the key! STO will have cashflow in spades from this year onwards and will be able to comfortably service its debt as well as explore and pay dividends.
Good luck trying to talk down the stock on this forum but I suspect most people will take no notice.
