In my opinion, even after they develop a 10,000 neuron BrainChip, there will still be a lot of work to do to catch up to the voice recognition software technology which has had many years head start and which has improved significantly in recent years. Noisy backgrounds is one of the problems voice recognition software has had to overcome, at this point in time we do not know how BrainChip voice recognition will perform. It should require less computing power and may perform very well.
