You seem intelligent enough to understand the number's game in question here - albeit misguided at time
It's a question of simple demographics.
They say that the muslim population in Australia will increase by 80% in the next 20 years compared to 18% of the non-muslim population.
May not seem alot - but lets then take the 20 years after that - and the 20 years after that - and the next 20 years after that - in other words - one lifetime!
Much will depend on Australia's immigration and refugee policies - but if they are anything like the UK's then you will see similar headlines in Australia Paper in the near future
I lived in Europe in the 70s and there wasn't the slightest hint that this was on the cards then - and 40 years later its a harsh reality.
What will the next 40 years bring in Europe?
Lower caucasian birth rates along with an ageing population
Higher muslim birth rates along with a younger population
