Mookie, I accept that management could have been "better" in the past perhaps, but I still do not entirely agree. Management can always be better. However, the current management probably wouldn't have even started to consider coming aboard such a tiny company 12-18 months ago. You need to work with what you can get. NMS was little more than a idea in those days. High profile guys like Agostini aren't going to get on board most companies simply for ideas. There needs to be something concrete for them to start spreading the word with. This is more of a case of company evolution IMO. One step (ie: cheap management for initial setup) needs to be taken before the next.
The old management built the company to a stage where at least the basic components of the company were put together and initial research development could be done. Now it is time to get things moving. (Agree, perhaps this next step could have been taken a little earlier, but its only a few months off IMO.) It is ideal to have the best management from the beginning, yes, but usually not feasible or possible.
