"All of the men with prostate cancer had detectable HCA. And only 16 percent of men with HCA were cancer-free, or falsely positive. With a PSA test, noted Devanney, about 75 percent of those with abnormal results are false positives."

But just came across this bit of interesting news...

"Laboratories in Portland, Maine, and Beijing are now working on a more precise version of the HCA test, which should be available in a couple of months. If small-group results with the improved test are promising, Egenix will begin a larger, multi-center clinical trial involving about 500 patients."
Is there a big trial just around the corner??
