"Word on the street, as reported here and on Facebook, is that SNE will come up to 600 million. Now today we find a further prospective 440-odd million barrels that can be tied back to SNE. One has to wonder whether two separate announcements might have been confused? Is SNE's "600" actually the 300-odd indicated by CNE's booking of contingent resource PLUS the prospective resource announced today?"

The more I think about that statement more likely it seems I have just had another look at the presentation and notice looking at the siesmec diagram something I missed on the first read and that is the two new prospects are in the Albian sands which are the same sands as SNE.(I'm sorry if this has been commented on already)
This is very good news as we know there is oil in the Albian sands at SNE and one would have to rate the chances of oil being in Soleil and Sirius although they both sit a little lower in the same formation.

In effect SNE , Sirius and Soleil make up a three humped bull Elephant on stilts ( quite rare) and more or less double the Albian sands prospects to date, however untill they put a drill in them I doubt they could be added to the 330MMBbl 2C currently given to the Albian sands at SNE . So at this stage as I see it we have twice the sands but not twice the Resources..yet...
