AGF is interesting.
A feature of AGF has been the historical differential between the sp and the NAV. Initially it was a cause of scepticism on my behalf.
At the moment with the price increase, I'm happy to accept the situation.
As the NAV rises so too does the sp, but the differential remains - and at the moment the differential may have increased.
Several weeks ago I emailed the fund about it and their response was "There are always many reasons why a discount or premium may occur on such listed investments. We continue to believe that active promotion of the fund will attract sufficient investor interest in the Fund, which should be a key driver to closing the discount.” It didn't clarify the reason.

I assume the weekly announcement of the NAV is an attempt to close the gap. Personally I think it will have positive impact especially in the short term with the rising NAV.

We can’t complain with the current surge and it’s exciting to think there’s possibly another 25% ready to be tacked on.
