Most of the stats are contained in your first link:
Measles deaths in 1920: 7,575
Measles deaths in 1962: 432 (measles vaccine introduced 1963)
Diphtheria 1920 deaths: 13,170
Diphtheria 1950 deaths: 410 (DTP introduced 1949) http://vaccines.procon.org/view.additional-resource.php?resourceID=005971
Pertussis deaths 1922: 5,099
Pertussis deaths 1950: 1,118 deaths http://vaccines.procon.org/view.additional-resource.php?resourceID=005971
Polio deaths 1954: 1,879
Polio deaths 1916: 6,000 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_poliomyelitis
Polio deaths 1948: 2720 (when you say it was at its worst - but about one third the rate of 1916) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_poliomyelitis
These stats are all for the US, but are absolute. If they are adjusted to a deaths/1,000 basis the falls are even more dramatic.
