Hi Buick,
Don't forget they mainly target the 7 day to a month / year audience, this is where the advantage and rental savings are, sure if you go interstate and need a car for a few days your probably not going to penny pinch and use a car hire such as hertz. Different story if you are planning on a three week visit to tour around and go sight seeing etc..this is the target market IMO ..
