re: to now skyrocket.. It's great how that happens, isn't it.
What you need to do is work out a method of tricking yourself into thinking that you have sold your shares whereas in actual fact you have forgotten that you bought a put option to cover the possiblity of making a mistake in the first place.
After all that, you will not know if you own the shares or not, and you will hope they go in the other diection. As a result, you end up either making a packet, or thinking you made a packet.
Either way, you are happy.
