Legume, you are forgetting that pSivida had issues clearing Iluvien (their core program) for FDA approval, they had, I believe 3 go's until they got it through. Their focus looks to be on eye drugs, as their other program not partnered with Alimera is Medidur, which is in Phase III stage.
That IMO is why they let go of BrachySil/OncoSil as it is non-core and the reason why it hasn't got approval. It's probably best that they let a standalone company focus on the technology so that OncoSil can be brought onto market.
