I presume that you know of the following alternative ways to view:
a) selection of "splitview" above each message you view that you can click to bring up all the messages replies linked to the thread.
b) on the left side panel you can enter an ASX sock code or one of the special codes such as GOLD or OILGAS to see all recent posts for that code.
c) you can add users to your favorites and view all recent messages by them by clicking "My: Favorites" at the top left then selecting your favorite user.
So I don't think that the facilities on hotcopper are all that bad.
