Slippin, very rarely do we read about Indonesian atrocities in our media..
Yet I remember reading in their Jakarta Post while up there about the Indonesian military killing dissenters in Aceh Banda and lining their bodies (men, women, and children) along roads as a warning to others. (They had been protesting Mobil Oil activities)
No one saw that here in our media.
The only mention in our press of anything similar was when the military broke a strike at the Freeport mine by shooting the strikers.
